So I was actually thinking of checking out the Duskruin Arena tonight and I have a very limited understanding of how it works.

Like, basically you have to kill 25 critters and you have a certain amount of time to do so and there are champions and blah blah. Is there like a Duskruin for Dummies guide out there?

Don't you have to like look at the critters or something and duck to avoid their attacks or something? Does praying actually make you kneel on the ground and thus can become critter food for being kneeling on the ground? Or does pray just instantly grant you stamina and mana but you lose time or something?

Anything else I should look out for?

You have to WATCH the creatures for traps and then do the corresponding action. With LICH the script for it is arenawatch

Don't run ;roomcreature
Run ;Arenawatch

You have 8 minutes... faster you kill them all, the higher reward. 250 max

If you run out of mana, you can PRAY to get some back, at the expense of 30 seconds, which could impact your total rewards.

Awesome. Thanks guys.

So looking at the code of ;arenawatch you really only have to WATCH the critter as soon as they enter the room? They don't like change up their attacks midway through or anything?

Also are the non champions pretty laughably easy or can even the non champions cave your head in easily?

After you watch, a critter trying to trap you will fall in the trap instead. If this happens, you should watch again a few seconds later.

As for champions vs non champs, my one death actually came to a non-champion Vor'taz. Turns out when you're immobilized by spike thorn you can't dodge the traps, which led to a terminal case of spike-in-the-eye.
