Just started a new Dwarven 2-handed Voln warrior in plat, and I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything here:
My stats are currently set for ease of leveling, but will be set to the following by the end of my 30:
Stat: L0 (L100)
Str: 30 (100)
Con: 49 (100)
Dex: 70 (100)
Agi: 73 (100)
Dis: 68 (100)
Aur: 82 (100)
Log: 88 (100)
Int: 55 (88)
Wis: 77 (100)
Inf: 68 (94)
I'm looking at the following training:
3x Armor Use to 140 ranks, then allow it to back down to 2x over the next several levels.
1x Dodging until Armor Use is at 140, then work it up to 2x.
2x Two-Handed Weapons
2x Combat Maneuvers
2x Physical Fitness
1x Multi Opponent Combat
1x Perception
1x Ambush until 24 ranks.
.5x First Aid until Ambush is at 24, then work to 1x
.5x Survival until Ambush is at 24, then work to 1x
.5x Climbing
.5x Swimming
40 ranks of Shield Use by 70ish (Shield Bash/Shield Charge to 4 for defensive purposes)
Arcane Symbols, Magic Item Use, Harness Power, Spiritual/Elemental Mana Control as possible once the above goals are met, with the possibility of adding more Physical Fitness.
So - are there any glaring issues with my plan?

I thought you would want to tank INF and get 100 in INT?

Not if you want to do warcries. Tanking INF is the worst when you do that.

Plus he's a dwarf. -10 bonus to Inf. He's in for a rough Warcry route no matter what.

Gotcha. Shows what I know about Warriors.

I gotta imagine finding tons of partners in plat has gotta be tough too, although because it's such a small tight knit community I could be wrong and it's actually the complete opposite

I did it in Plat. It was a bitch, admittedly and cost me roughly 150k BPs in throat balms to pull it off.

Figured I would update this, since it has been a few months.

Guild Skills:
You are Guild Master of the Warrior Guild.
You are current with your dues and must check in again sometime in the next 85 days.
You currently have 322 task trading vouchers.
You currently have 193 ranks out of a possible 202 for your training.
You are a Master of Disarm Weapon.
You have 4 ranks in the Berserk skill.
You have earned enough training points for your next rank.
You have 31 ranks in the Warrior Tricks skill.
You need 75 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to practice Drop-n-Roll for an audience.
You have 17 repetitions remaining to complete this task.
You have 18 ranks in the Tackle skill.
You need 135 training points to earn your next rank.
The Training Administrator told you to practice tackling a partner.
You have 8 repetitions remaining to complete this task.
You are a Master of War Cries.
You have 20 ranks in the Batter Barriers skill.
You are not currently training in this skill.
I have a couple more of my every-level skills to get this level: 2 ranks PF, 1 rank Dodge, Survival, Perception, First Aid, Trading, Swimming.
Once I get those, I'll pick up 2 more ranks of MOC for another open mstrike target.
After that, I'm debating between the three things I want to do next:
20 more ranks of shield use to get 4 ranks for Shield Charge defense. Starting to see this maneuver in Reim.
20-24 ranks of Ambush - I don't ambush much at all currently, and am not sure I'll even bother with this at all.
30-40 ranks of Harness Power, 10 ranks of SMC, 20 ranks of EMC. This will help tremendously for getting spells.
I intend to get Armor Use to 150 ranks to finish training Support, but am holding off on doing so until I can get all 10 of the additional ranks at the same time.
CMANs I intend to train as I level:
Focus 5
CDefense 5
SParry 3
Surge 3
Charge 4
Not sure if this is the exact order I'll train these, but it should be close.
I may switch out Mighty Blow and Executioner's Stance for Mongoose at some point if I start berserking heavily. At this time, I don't, so it makes more sense to keep Executioner's Stance.
I am currently working on Tackle, and will follow it up with finishing Tricks, then Berserk, then Batter.
I am currently wearing 4x, T1 Voln full plate, but have a project piece being enchanted right now. Currently 6x and being taken to 7x.
His bonded weapon is a 4x, T4 (should be T5 next week) perfect greataxe. Going to start working on improving this through merchants/events soon.

I've never been a huge fan of parry mastery myself but if you feel you need it go for it. I'd suggest getting combat mobility.
For your goals, 20 ranks of shield use is darn cheap grab it and get it out of the way. I'd hold off on the ambush as well until you had enhancives or something, the ambush round times with that would probably drive me nuts, 7 seconds was my limit for that.
I never wanted to be that guy who begged for spells or the guy who trained specifically for it either. I didn't pick up any HP until I was learning spells myself and only picked up 10 ranks of each mana control so I could send to casters during invasions.
You have FA/survival, I'd suggest picking up some trading to go along with it. Silvers may not be as important in plat but they still come in handy.
Just scrolled back and looked at your MoC, get that up to 55 quick!

I've been away for a while so can someone explain to me why you'd train in shield use if you're swinging a 2handed weapon?

I'm guessing to help defend against shield cmans.

knowing the maneuever gets you defense in the maneuever, so picking up some super cheap shield ranks can make you effectively immune (they need to get an open roll, basically) from common shield maneuevers (bash, charge), without needing to spend CMan points on the skills that are available as both shield and combat maneuvers.
