Weird Vaalon Hammer of Kai loresinging shit

Whenever I sing to this vaalorn Hammer of Kai I found I get the following message:

As you sing, you feel a faint stirring in your vaalorn Hammer of Kai that fades, as if your song had somehow failed to resonate with it properly.

I've tried everything and lots of different verses, always the same as above. This is the only time I have ever received this failure message on anything, and I've sung to a few items since the recent loresinging change.

Anyone have any ideas?

Also it appears to be +31, but that's just from some random testing I did with my bard where the hammer gave my bard -4 AS compared to his sonic hammer of kai, so maybe I'm just missing something obvious there.

It would be weird if it is +31 because the pawnshop only offers me 21k.

Fyonn got me pointed in the right direction. Apparently Hammers of Kai need to be sung to as "Hammer of Kai" and not just "Hammer."

The hammer is also +23 which leaves me wondering why it had 4 less AS than my bard's sonic Hammer of Kai. He has over 100 bard spellranks, shouldn't his sonic weapons be +35? Maybe I can't math.

Your sonics should definitely be +35. Is the hammer enhansive in any fashion and was the testing controlled? (Out hunting random stuff like spells falling off or something casting a debuff like sounds can be missed pretty easily).

Hammer isn't enhanced and I don't recall seeing any spells wear off. I'll probably test it again and make sure I'm in the same stance every time with no spells on. I might have messed up on the stance bit.
