1601: The Wiki lies!

The wiki states 1601 gives a flat +5 DS/STD when cast on other players and the lore bonus from religion only affects the casting paladin. However Nairdin clearly showed me tonight that the lore bonus does indeed affect other players.

So if someone who knows the wiki better than I do wants to fix that that'd be great.

I'm assuming the duration when casting on others is still refreshable as opposed to stackable though.

It might as well be. I only ever visit the official website anymore to open or close my accounts.

I don't edit bits on the wiki I am not familiar with, but if you log into the wiki there is an EDIT link to the right of each section. Go in there and you can change it. You can also go into the TALK tab and EDIT again to add a ramble about your research or whatever.

His lore bonus or yours? Also, were you grouped with him when testing this?

I'll have to try it out with my Pally and see what happens.

Just to be sure I tested this with my paladin and I made sure he wasn't grouped with anyone and I tested it on someone who has no lores at all and it did indeed increase their TD by 7 instead of the base 5. My paladin doesn't have many lores yet :(

5 paladin spells and 5 blessings.

Looks like it fits with the Lore Chart on the wiki but is the same on self-cast as it is casting at someone else, not just the base. I'm going to try it out shortly.

What does yours say when you do a ;magic with the details on?

On my Paladin I get:

- Paladin:
1601: Mantle of Faith - 4:02:10 - 12 bDS, 12 pDS, 6 elemTD, 12 spirTD, 9 sorcTD

My Wizard:

- Paladin:
1601: Mantle of Faith - 0:20:58 - 15 bDS, 15 pDS, 7 elemTD, 15 spirTD, 11 sorcTD

Here's on my Cleric:

- Paladin:
1601: Mantle of Faith - 0:18:29 - 15 bDS, 15 pDS, 7 elemTD, 15 spirTD, 11 sorcTD

First cast against him was:
TD: +271

Then I stopped 1601:
TD: +234

Put 1601 back up:
TD: +246

So, why did I lose 25 TD?? (So I think this had to do with it - Starburst patterns of pale blue light sweep forward from your chest and infuse the deep blue glow with their energy.- 107 spell )

Aaaaand, he has:
Spiritual Lore - Blessings.........| 141 41

w/ 1601 - TD: +413
w/o - TD: +401

So, it looks like when cast on others they get the same benefit as the Pally does with Lores.

Well...until you get that all nerfed!

This is the 107 +25 TD flare based upon Blessings ranks, yes.

The pointy end goes in the critter. Non-casters use the verb ATTACK to swing their big heavy, sometimes pointy, things at critters.
You get hard RT from this, sometimes 5 seconds or more. Amazingly, you can still hunt this way!
