What are the stats on the UAC weapons, anyone know yet?

Looks like there are 2 types of new gloves this year, copper and steel buckled. The copper is just plain 4x and the steel is 5x with acid flares.

So much for hoping upgrades would exist this year.

copper i think is acid flares, steel not sure about the flares if any but i know they arent 5x. the golvern ones might be 5x. and the veil iron maybe higher, based off the pricing. tested the copper and keyln myself...they are pretty much all 4x aside from the golvern and veil iron. seems 5x is priced at 2500 bloodscrip. by comparing with the 5x realm flaring UAC gloves in a another shop. they have two kinds there btw. eonake and rolaren. but sign says 5x realm flares. im willing to go out on on a limb and say if its less than 2500, prolly not 5x

Itachi

Yeah did some test recently as well, they have the unbalance flares too but they are 4x.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the arrow earring in your hand...

The earring resonates with your voice, indicating that it enhances its owner in the following ways:
It provides a bonus of 3 to Perception Bonus.
It provides a bonus of 3 to Ranged Weapons Bonus.
It provides a bonus of 3 to Dexterity Bonus.
The earring looks to have more than your average giantman could count charges remaining.

You sense that the arrow earring will crumble into dust after its last enhancive charge has been expended.

... Better than I was expecting.

Helswrite takes your earring and peers at it through a large green crystal lens. He hands it back, saying, "Sorry, Mr Awesome Bow Man, I can't recharge this."

Why is there never any OHE or THW enhancives off the shelf anymore. between Dusk, and Spire.. it's always ranged or spell aim. Like they need a boost to AS.

Try hurling, then get back to me. At least you see THW occasionally. You're right though, there always seems to be something ranged.

For those interested -- a pair of supple black leather golvern-buckled gloves (2500 BS from Bare Aggression)

Stats: 5x grapple flares

You analyze your golvern-buckled gloves and sense that the item is largely free from merchant alteration restrictions.

The creator has also provided the following information:

This item may be altered but the noun must always be one of the following: Gloves, Gauntlets, Handwraps, or Hand-wraps. The basic material of leather should stay the same (i.e. leather, suede, lambskin, etc.). It can be setup to have BOTH a long and a SHOW description.

This item is currently fully unlocked and has the following verbs available: Wear, Remove, Pull, Tap, Rub, and Clench.

You might be able to have a talented merchant lighten the golvern-buckled gloves for you.

Remove -- Tugging gently at the leather, you remove first your right glove then your left, taking the time to massage out any tightness in the palms of your hands.
Wear -- As you slide the golvern-buckled gloves over your hands, the supple leather grips your palms. Slowly curling and uncurling your fingers, you test the feel of the leather until you arrive at an ideal fit.
Rub -- You slowly rub your hands together then clap your hands once in anticipation.
Pull -- You pull at the ends of your golvern-buckled gloves, tightening the fit as your fingers flex inside them.
Tap -- You tap your clenched fists together, once, twice, then raise one hand in a beckoning motion, welcoming all comers.
Clench -- Balling your hand into a tight fist, you raise it defiantly skyward as an ethereal net envelops your glove, and then quickly fades.

Anyone figure out what those veil iron UAC items are? o.O

Wyrom said they would work on signs for them, basically. But didn't give specifics on the items themselves. He did say that 10k was the watermark for 6x direct quote...

A good rule of thumb is 2500 for 5x and 10000 for 6x. If the item has other properties, the price is adjusted. Fluff scripts typically up the price if they are unlocked. Flares and stuff like that is more significant. And then you have stuff like common and uncommon flares that are varying.

so, at 12.5...hard to tell. Veil iron is sanctified pretty regularly so could be that, i'm assuming flared and scripted but impossible to tell and 12.5 is such a stupid amount to pay without specifics. Hopefully they get signage up.

I'm looking at purchasing one of the garrote-hilt daggers. Do you need to purchase the wire and the tool to go with it to make it work though?

The golvern boots -- 2500 BS

This item is currently fully unlocked and has the following verbs available: Wear, Remove, Pull, Tap, Point, and Stomp.

remove -- You remove first your right boot then your left, taking the time to massage out any tightness in the soles of your feet.
wear -- As you slide the golvern-toed boots over your feet, the supple leather grip your soles. Slowly curling and uncurling your toes, you test the feel of the leather until you arrive at an ideal fit.
pull -- You pull at the ends of your golvern-toed boots, tightening the fit as your toes flex inside them.
tap -- You bounce lightly on the balls of your feet and, eager in your anticipation, adopt an aggressive stance.
point -- Pointing your foot, you draw an imaginary line along the floor with your toe, daring anyone to cross.
stomp -- In a bid to draw attention to yourself, you loudly stomp your foot against the floor as an ethereal net envelops your boot, and then quickly fades.

Also for anyone curious about the Ipantor Bow that is selling for 4000 BS...It is at the very least +26. I am level 13 and cannot take it back out of my backpack due to its enchant. there were no signs about it so figured I would let you know.

FYI just dinged 14 and can now use the Bow so guessing +26.

I'm looking at purchasing one of the garrote-hilt daggers. Do you need to purchase the wire and the tool to go with it to make it work though?

To use it, you don't need to, but it analyze does have a message that says if parts break, you can fix them, which I believe is what the others are for. My rare usage has never caused any trouble with it though, so I don't know for sure how that part works.
