Ok, so I am playing a little again and this new training system is freaking me out.

I know level 0 counts, so at level 5, if you 2x, you should have 12 ranks.

So whats freaking me out is that at level 5, 2x in OHE, my skill cost is 4/2, instead of 2/1. WTF!!

Don't freak out, man. This is the part of the system that optimizes your training for you, it's a good thing. What it does is look at how many ranks you have in that skill and compare them to your level, so you had 10 ranks at level 5. It says, ok, 6 of those are singled ranks, the last 4 are doubled. If you want to get the last two (before interlevel training), you have to pay doubled costs for each. The optimized part is if you stop training completely, it'll give you points back at each level until you reach the point where they'd all be singled (level 11, in this case).

The short: it costs the same, really. :)
