Hey,
Just wondering what people think is best to max first out of these two?
I assume PT but just thought I would check...

I would guess PT as well. 3x PT makes you almost immune to maneuvers and shit.

PT, without question. PT factors into so much. It's like the wonder skill. 3x dodge is a post cap goal.

PT is the best. Not to mention less TPs then dodge, if I am not mistaken.

3x PF costs less than 2x dodge. 3x dodge is helpful, but the cost benefit favors 3x PF by a wide margin in my book. If I were a THW user I would favor it more, but I think I would still do 3x PF before 3x dodge.

3x PF should be your first post-cap goal

You can be full 3x PF pre-cap also (for those still leveling up), if willing to put the points into it and avoid the tertiary skills. Is a very nice thing to have.

My warrior is 75 and is nearly 3x pt already. Where are you wasting points to not be 3x pt by cap?

There's really not much. About the only justification would be 2x MO.

Which one you should do first depends on society and choice of hunting grounds as well as shield/weapon. Shield users obviously have less need of that extra DS from 3x dodge so doing PF first should be a no brainer. For those not using a shield, if you are in GoS 3x PF first. Outside of GoS if you hunt the rift PF is key, if you hunt Nelemar or OTF you are going to want dodge more. Comparing cost shouldn't matter when which is going to keep you alive more often should come first.

i reached cap with around 2.5x PT and finished it quickly. if i had points to spare, that's where they would have gone. but as a GoS THW warrior, i spent extra training points on 2x dodging and token amounts of harness power, ambush, miu and scroll reading

Apart from the society affiliation this is where I will be at CAP I think.

My precap warrior is only 2x PT, but he runs two weapon styles (THW/UAC) for flavor reasons. He also has a pile of MIU/AS, also for flavor reasons (although 20ish wearable mana for OTF is a nice side effect).

I was 3x PF from around level 75 or so myself.

Before I took a break, I was working on small skills that I'd eventually trade over for 3x dodge...It's a crazy amount of TP's to invest in.
