So I'm reinstalling Lich on a new computer with Windows 10, but it seems to be hanging up on the Installling gtk2 portion, and keeps trying to install it and doing nothing after the initial install.

The first time you start Lich, it will ask you if you want to install sqlite3 and gtk2. Click YES to install sqlite3, wait for the black window to install sqlite3 and close, Click OK to restart Lich, Click YES to install gtk2, wait for the black window to install gtk2 and close, Click OK to restart Lich.

Every time I open it after that, it just goes back to saying that it's not installed, and asking if I want to install it... any idea why?

Tillmen is looking into the issue. Something about a GTK2 3.0.8 version that is being downloaded now. Only workaround I've found so far with my limited abilities is to grab the C:\Ruby200\lib\ruby\gems\2.0.0 folder from a working instance and copy it to the machine that needs to be installed.

Ahh, thank you.

Worked when I copied the files over from my old HD!

Just resubscribed tonight, went to install Lich, and ran into this; might any of you have a zip of the old files that you could share?

I'll send you a link Triex, hopefully a better solution will be available.

I could use a copy of that as well please Omrii.
I have been going crazy trying to figure out why it was hanging up when I tried to install it. I don't have an instance of a working copy. Also, just so I know, I would only need that particular ruby to get the lich to work ?
