Granted it's not a 100% fair comparison because my Minor Elemental CS is 551 while my Major Elemental CS is 494, but trust me, even with higher Major Elemental CS I didn't see much of a difference in Immolation power.

I mean, immolate damage did look compatible at lower warding failures, right? I saw a fallen crusader take 103 damage just from the lingering burn after, as well.

I guess the raw damage of immolate isn't horrible, the main problem is it seems to be impossible to get any death crits from the raw damage. Meanwhile 415 seems to death crit a critter just by prepping the spell.
