Has anyone had issues with W10 recognizing the existence of 2nd monitors? I just got one which I've connected using a VGA splitter, but the PC doesn't detect it at all. Currently the display is cloned on both monitors, somewhat less than useful! I'm in the process of updating the NVIDIA (Geforce GT 720 in case that's useful) drivers, hoping that will have positive effects. I found a few solutions Googling but so far no dice.
Thanks :)

Not sure your video card supports dual monitors if you only have 1 display output that requires the use of a VGA splitter. Don't think it has anything to do with Windows

Hm, didn't think of that, but I confirmed on the NVIDIA site that this card should be able to handle up to 3 monitors (http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gt-720/specifications)

You can't show different displays through one VGA port with a splitter. You'll need to use two different outputs.

Hah! Well that is a problem. Would it work if I used a DVI cable to connect the 2nd one to the card's other port? Thanks Taernath.
