I have always wanted to learn to use Ubuntu, so i figured i would just jump in. I have installed Ubuntu 14.04.4LTS on a PC.

I have never used Ubuntu, and my computer skills are so so, but I learn quickly if given instruction for getting started.

What I am asking for is someone to walk me through downloading, and setting up everything I need, to be able to play GS with lich on Ubuntu.

Any takers?
thanks
John

This is what I am using to teach myself Ubuntu: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/practical-guide-to-ubuntu-linux-mark-g-sobell/1100617231?ean=9780132542487

But I have not been real diligent about it, just sort of reading here and there, but so far it is very helpful.

ok question is there anyway to open up the lich entry without opening up a terminal and manually inputting the ruby2.0 lich\lich.rbw command?
