TownCrier Channel with Newsby

This weekend I launched a rolling news ticker on the new LNet channel, TownCrier, via the cute little level zero bard, Newsby.

The news ticker is a compilation of multiple GS resources all in one place with brief headlines (and links as needed) that are about 5 minutes apart. When current news/events comes across my screen (Or, you know, Newsby's too), I will try to include them, too.

There's usually 20-24 items in the list, making it repeat around every 2 hours.

Individual news items expire and go live as needed during the time I'm logged in.

I'm interested in building a small creative team to help this up to date with news from the various towns, and internet sources - along with general tips and humor.

For now, I'm only running Newsby when I'm at home and can monitor it.

All great ideas welcome! Talk to me! We'll figure it out together.

Perfect timing Allereli! I was about to go look for a schedule for the upcoming Magic of Spring! Thanks so much, we will get the individual events added, instead of just the one general announcement the Main DR Calendar has. Goat told me about one of them this past weekend, that's when I realized there was MORE to find out!
