hunting suggestions 45+

Looking to move on from storm giants at 42 trains...shan aren't worth the trouble to me, and I don't think I'm quite ready for mammoths and tigers to reliably leg/eye shot them without wasting 10-12 arrows per kill. I'd like to avoid EN and Teras if possible. Anyone have any suggestions for something that could take me to a level where tigers would be easier? I did not like polar bears, having to try and avoid all the other creatures while only looking for bears.

I'm an open archer with 318 AS at level 42.

Should be doing Kiramon if looking for solid skins/gem hunting.

Yep, I'd say Kiramon or RR. RR has a shit load of stuff to hunt around that train.

Aren't kiramon puncture resistant? That's the only reason why I was avoiding that area. I'd like to stay near solhaven/IMT/Landing due to other characters I hunt with.

I know your preference is not EN but having run a ranger for the past 20 levels, now 60ish, in EN I can't recommend it enough. It was ideal for my bow using archer. Raptors/Leopards are great. Trali and shaman just to the north are doable. I might get some resist on my armor but it would be my recommendation.

Outside spells can be picked up pretty easily at the dais. Population IMO has seen an increase as of late out there.

I was afraid of that. They looked so easy on paper for an archer. I have friends I play with who I spell up with other characters, so traveling to and from EN when they currently hunt in the Landing would be a bit of a nuisance. I'm not familiar with level 25-40 hunting in EN, guess I'll have to read up.

EN is best for that range RR is good as well

open archer would do really well on Teras. Pyrothags are easy peasy.

Just be careful there if you're wearing armor that inspects as metal. Small hits from skayl can add up and ruin your day.
