Opinions on what to train now? Thinking about rounding out my magic skills so I can start enchanting before working towards 3x spells.

do you mean enchanting actual hard things like enhancives? Because you could already easily do 7x vanilla stuff.

And grats.

Thanks.

I figured my MIU/AS/EMC were a little low for enchanting in general.

Thats a pretty cool build to cap as.

People really overestimate how hard it is to do 7x enchants, it sucks not having any way to actually tell difficulty so it is the right thing to do, but with your build I can't see you as being at anything other than the base 3% failure for like...the last 30 levels or so. If not more.

Standard 7X would be a walk in the park, getting MIU and wizard ranks up some more and you will be able to do enhancives and never fail the pour. Remember Wizard ranks are the single biggest determiner of a successful cast. You need the MIU mostly to be able to pour pre-temper potions. Unfortunately as Donquix pointed out, the powers that be do not release a lot of into about it so it is only through jacking things up that we learn a little each time. My wizard is only 65 trains and he has been doing 7X for some time, at least 15 trains, now he is classically trained as a bolter so he has more MIU and AS than yours, but again, that is not that big a deal on the cast.

EMC, AS, MIU up to 1x. You can go up to 1.5x on MIU if you want to do fusion enchanting, but meh~ The EMC will assist in 540 proc rates. Just 100 ranks, no reason to go to a full 101. Maybe 20 more Climbing/Swimming? I've always been told to get them to 50... but if you're GOS, you're probably fine sticking to 30.

Ohh... can't believe I didn't see this... Spell Aiming... take that to 2x of course. Get another attack method.

I'd consider picking up 25 in Earth lore... I know 2H mages tend to have some DS problems... the 25 earth lore (consider going up to 35 for an additional +1% on a lot of procs, as well as 902). I wouldn't rollover lore training so it starts to become 2x yet though.

After that, spell research... If you're air attuned, consider MjE first to use 502 opener if you're also using an e-bladed or air flaring weapon. If not, and you want a more defensive route, consider going Wiz up to 101 ranks, then MjE up to 101... or if you end up liking spell aiming, and the earth lore gives you enough defense, go with MjE first... or do them both at the same time, I don't care.

That'll take you like, 3 years to complete everything above.
