Help me with this quote???

My husband and I are in the process of selling our house, and our realtor is the most dishonest and utterly worthless human being I have ever met.

Today after yet another lie uncovered a quote I once heard popped into my head. It goes something like: 'My first thought was this, that he lied in every word'.

Does anybody here know who said it, and who the person was talking about? It's driving me crazy.
