So I'm reading this and it has the little addition of beig able to hit magical creatures without special blah blah, is that referring to being able to hit undead without a bless?

No, when it means magic creatures it means stuff that typically need magical metal to hit. I'm unsure of what those are anymore as it's been forever. Crystal golems? Something.
But undead still need blessed gloves/boots, a held weapon, or Voln stuff.
