I'm looking for some assistance with this...
How do I remove the hilt description from my finished item (i.e. "a perfect steel handaxe" instead of "a perfect maoral-hafted steel handaxe")?
How do I get the different quality descriptions (i.e. superior/hefty/well-crafted)?
Any help is appreciated.

"After this step, the blade is complete. The weapon will be a <quality> <material>-handled <material> <weapon>. The handle portion of the short can be removed using the polisher (LEAN ON POLISHER WITH CLEAN)."

The different quality descriptions depend entirely on the quality of the pieces used to create the weapon and the success of combining them.

Yeah, but you can choose any equivalent or lesser quality descriptor with LEAN POLISHSER. You can make a perfect weapon that looks lop-sided, for example.

I did read this and try it before posting, but for whatever reason I couldn't change the item's description. Does it matter that it was a forging-hammer I was trying to make? Like, ideally I just want "a perfect mithril forging-hammer" with no handle description...

Hefty, superior, and well-crafted are all the same quality. I was asking how to choose between them. Gnomad answered that part of the question, although I had already tried that as well and been unsuccessful. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong at this point.

Apparently "Clean" has to be capitalized or it does nothing. I feel kinda stupid now, but come on, heh heh...
Thanks for the help everyone.
