Undead bane oils will temporarily add the undead bane ability to weapons, armor, and maybe shields. The type of oil used will also add a corresponding ability to the item when the oil is in effect. Oils will not work on padded, weighted, or flared items. It is not required for the item to be blessed, as the oil will allow the item to hit undead even when not blessed. However, applying the oil to an item that is already blessed, purified or holy will allow the effect to last longer. should work for fusion as long as it's blessable
