Have you considered using an e-bladed staff until you can pick up some disarm training?

AHAHAHA---Yeah, so yes, I am going to be eblading a generic staff for the remainder of my time in OTF. Do things disarm in Nelemar? I'm eventually moving there.

Yes. Using Soul Ward (as a non-cleric) has dramatically decreased the disarms. I have no cman training. Consider that for your spell burst calculations.
