New Posts

I've noticed over the past few days that when I hit the "New Posts" button, it doesn't always reflect all the new posts since my last visit. It often just shows 1 post or only a few posts, even after 12+ hours of not viewing the PC.

For example:

I posted over in the thread "Good Covers". I leave for ~35 minutes, and come back and see that a few people have posted:

Then I hit "new posts" and only one post shows up:

Anyone else having this issue or know of a fix?

Looking into this issue, it's basically a vBulletin quirk involving how New Posts get cached. While a nuisance one possible remedy is to click on Forum and then select New Posts and that should force a refresh along with incrementing the searchid parameter in the URL.

For example in your case the searchid parameter in the URL was 3079595.
