It seems that Atlantis gets "discovered" every few years, but this seems like it may actually be legit. And it does make sense that that's where it would have been.

Well regardless of whether not it's "ATLANTIS" it's interesting that they found another city.

I'm always skeptical of things like this though. Just think of when the Raelian's said they cloned that baby.

Of course, the question is, what makes it Atlantis versus just some other civilization or city? They never qualified why it had to be Atlantis in the article. They mention the Straits of Gibraltar...but Cyprus is almost as far as one can get in the Mediterranean .

Exactly the question. Other, similar places are also thought to possibly have been "Atlantis". Such as Akrotiri of Thera (http://www.culture.gr/2/21/211/21121a/e211ua08.html).
