Currently only 23 train archer doing fine on lesser gargoyles. I'm looking to plan ahead and curious if arctic titans/cold guardians are worth fighting (is that cave even a good spawn)? I've spirit and elemental spellups available to me so overhunting is not an issue. I'd prefer to stay in IMT/Landing/Solhaven if possible, but I suppose if there are easy pickins' on Teras or RR, I'd travel there. I don't want to go to EN.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Arctic manticores are easy peasy

Check out the Frozen Battlefield outside Mule there. Skeletal Ice trolls are super soft and hate fire a lot. I don't remember offhand what level they were, but I remeber guardians and giants roaming there too. It's just a pain to navigate the trench at times. But if you stay in it, the weather doesn't get to you.

Skeletal Ice Trolls are 31 and undead. Also in that area (the Battlefield) are Frost Giants (38, living), Ice Trolls (29, living), and Cold Guardians (34, living).

Just next door to the Battlefield are the Ice Plains, with Tundra Giants & Cold Guardians (34, living), Arctic Manticores (29, living), and Storm Giants (39, living).

Looking to avoid undead where possible. I can take storm giants at 29 trains? I was nervous trying to fight stone gargoyles at 21 and have been doing well since then.

Eh, the giants I was thinking about hit pretty hard so I'd be careful. I didn't realize they were that level. It's been awhile so I'll have to look again when I get a chance.

Could try dobrems down by solhaven. They're easy and probably not many people there. Just watch for them shaking your weapon loose.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I suppose I could just flee from storm giants, I was looking at that area in IMT first off.

Leopards are fairly easy up that way. They pounce, but nothing major.

Just watch for the other baddies in the area.

The main problem with hunting the tundra giants is the rolaren gate obstacle. I don't think rangers have a great way of bypassing that gate, so set a gold ring. If your climb isn't great, then get someone to bash/pick/1207/407 the gate open then you can hunt inside and ring out.

You won't have to worry about storm giants. They live up the ramp. Tundra giants don't go up the ramp. You will find 90% arctic manticores and 10% tundra giants, but the mants drop gems and their hides have good value also!

Another option is the super slow Cyclops in Solhaven. They're pretty popular, however, so expect competition if you hunt there.

Pra'eda and Mezics are also very crit-worthy, but they live in an annoying area with undead tree spirits that boil earth and spectral shades (that are just undead, but not really dangerous). Plus clouds, call wind and other annoyances if you don't disable them quickly.
