Any rogues out there take out fetish masters on a regular basis? I'm having trouble killing them consistently due to their high DS. Sweep is only so so against them and e-wave doesn't seem to do a thing. Should I be looking at using spirit strike every time I want to take a swing? Is it best just to skip them when swinging a weapon?

Yes, I kill them on my rogue.

I find sweep is worthless against them. I picked up hamstring for them as a TWC rogue and it also wasn't effective even with the bonus. It took two attacks to leg them, not worth.

To kill them you essentially just need to output enough AS to make it worth it. So either spirit strike them, pick up enhancives, or skip them. I wear plate so SS isn't an option unless I want to use imbeds.

You leap from hiding to attack!
You swing a rune-carved mithril hatchet at a darkly inked fetish master!
AS: +636 vs DS: +588 with AvD: +33 + d100 roll: +36 = +117
... and hit for 33 points of damage!
Solid strike caves the fetish master's skull in, resulting in instant death!
As a darkly inked fetish master slumps to the floor, the darkly lined tattoos traversing its skin lose the luminescence that had seemed to radiate from them.
A darkly inked fetish master appears less powerful.
A darkly inked fetish master seems to lose an aura of confidence.
The very powerful look leaves a darkly inked fetish master.
The white light leaves a darkly inked fetish master.
The deep blue glow leaves a darkly inked fetish master.
The light blue glow leaves a darkly inked fetish master.
Roundtime: 6 sec.

I don't see my AS getting as high as yours, so I'll look into getting SS imbeds for a hunt to try them out. It's a shame there isn't a combat maneuver that would really help.

The real question becomes how does a rogue hunt liches? Haste imbeds + ranged + max enhancives?

Haven't tried yet, but it sounds like crossbows might help. Kneel to avoid being waved and rapid fire bolts with the AS bonus. After one is down, take a minute to reload.

Liches are bitches. Keep in mind you are up-hunting 15 levels, and plan accordingly.

The Scatter was designed for group hunting. This manifests itself in the form of critters with high DS, high level, and faster than normal speed. In the case of liches you can add the phylacteries that must be destroyed in order to finally kill them. Today, there are very few groups that hunt The Scatter, but there are some, and it is a fun place to hunt in a group, though quite dangerous. Mostly it's hunted by a half dozen people hopped up on enhancives and uber gear, or pures who are also hopped up on enhancives. I can't speak to the gear that pures are using. In both cases they're well post-cap, which makes perfect sense.

Blue crystals can be charged and shouldn't cost more than 15-20k for around 25 charges. Just saying.

Squares like yourself do pretty well there, I hear. Notice I said "like yourself". Your gear is kinda crap though, not sure how you survive.

Also, if you get crystal holding jewelry, you can activate your charged blue crystal from hiding without being pulled out.

Wolfloner seems to do fine in there. I would find him and talk to him about it.
