If she's running Lich out of dropbox, then that's what she did wrong. I hear you can use dropbox to roll back lich.db3 to a previous version, but I don't use it so I don't know.

If that's not the case, then it could have been a hardware error or something, and you might be able to recover some of the settings by doing things.
