Grhim entering the Rift.
I don't actually remember what the entrance to the Rift is supposed to look like and don't currently own a character high enough to check, so if this doesn't match the text description of the sands...just pretend it does!
Used a sunstone gem shader for the orb in the staff because I liked the fiery color. It's funny but I never realized that sunstone is an actual, real world gem. I always thought it was just a Gemstone pretend item.
Christopher Walken could definitely play Grhim in the GS movie! :-D

This is great. Pretty background, the staff and lantern are very cool- I can totally see him about to wave that lantern in my face hehe
You know, I really love how this character looks. Unlike all the pretty characters he looks interesting. He looks like a mad Mage.
I'm totally in love with the staff. It exceeded my expectations.
Kind of reminds me of David Bowie in Labyrinth.
