Aiska again. Needed a closeup to show her freckles! The characters description says she is tanned with freckles. I tried to adjust her skin's RGB values to look more tanned but the freckles got lost when I did that so opted for a paler version than her textual description. I like freckles.

You have a real talent for visualising text, Tisket. My only criticism would be (and this relates to Bristenn's too) is that the armor looks more like aluminium foil than metal.

I absolutely agree with your assessment and I appreciate the honest critique very much. One of the most difficult things for me has been learning techniques to light different surfaces and materials so they look natural. After human skin, metals have proven to be the most challenging. They either look flat and dull, or too shiny and almost plastic-like. I suppose that aluminum foil is an improvement since it's at least in the same family as metal, lol. One day maybe I'll get the hang of it and come back and redo this and other armors. Lighting is such a bitch in these software programs but nothing is more important in my opinion than learning good lighting technique. It's the difference between a boring, flat piece and well...an interesting work of art. I'm still a novice.

Love how Aiska turned out. You're really getting amazing at this. As for the armor, it's not so much a aluminum foil look as much as it looks like metal leaf...or a silver gilding/vermeil (although in turn that is sort of a foil). I don't know that it's the lighting. It could well be the skins you're using. I certainly wouldn't know but can merely guess.

I really like this one, it's almost charmingly cartoonish in appearance while still bridging the uncanny valley nicely. Also, we can clearly see the evolution of Tisket's loving detail to lips, as it should be.
